Interview with Jeffrey Sielski
VIONNE: Jeffrey, your editorial Style Unleashed captures bold energy and movement. What made KP The Legend the perfect model to bring this vision to life?
Jeffrey: This photo shoot was based on the Fashion Designer Imani Rose these are her designs, Kaitlin truly brings every photo shoot to life.
VIONNE: The chemistry between photographer and model can completely shape a shoot. What was it like collaborating with KP The Legend on set at Vibe Space Studio?
Jeffrey: That is very true, I have been working with Kaitlin for a few years now. It is always amazing & working at Vibe Space Studio is always incredible because of the ladies that own & run the studio Liza, Elena & Elizabeth.
VIONNE: As a photographer, what first draws your attention when you step onto a set—the lighting, the styling, or the personality of the model?
Jeffrey: First the model I will be working with, then the styling, then what lighting will be used.
VIONNE: Studio lighting or natural light?
Jeffrey: Normally it is studio lighting, but I have a project coming up that will be different.
VIONNE: Black & white photography or bold color?
Jeffrey: Love both, but to me honestly b&w is more raw it draws you in it can be more powerful.
VIONNE: Fast-paced shooting or slow, deliberate composition?
Jeffrey: Slow, deliberate composition.
VIONNE: Fashion storytelling or pure aesthetic imagery?
Jeffrey: I try for both, but if I had to choose, pure aesthetic imagery.
VIONNE: Classic fashion inspiration or futuristic fashion concepts?
Jeffrey: I am very influenced by classic fashion, but Ideas of futuristic fashion concepts is always present too.
VIONNE: High fashion couture or street style energy?
Jeffrey: I try to bring high energy to high fashion couture.
VIONNE: Planned concept or creative improvisation?
Jeffrey: Planned concept, but creative improvisation is mixed in during shoots.
