A Studio That Shapes Stories
In an industry often dictated by aesthetics and trends, New York-based photographer Jeffrey Sielski has carved a unique lane — one where the model takes center stage. For this exclusive VIONNE editorial, Sielski partnered with Tresy Curcelli of Manhattan Model Management, bringing together sleek wardrobe choices, dynamic posing, and masterful lighting in a studio setting that pulses with energy.
Shot at the Vibe Space Photo and Dance Studio in Manhattan, the series merges elegance with attitude, classic beauty with contemporary cool. With a deep respect for individuality and collaboration, Sielski's work resists formulas. Instead, he leans into instinct, connection, and a sincere focus on what brings out the best in each model.
In this feature, we go behind the lens to explore how this shoot came to life — and why Jeffrey believes authenticity always outshines trend.
Interview with Jeffrey Sielski
VIONNE: Jeffrey, your photos put the model at the center — how do you ensure their energy and individuality shine through in every shoot?
Jeffrey: I approach every photo shoot individually, each model has her own unique look & style so I work with them on what the clothing, the look and style will be that will work best for here, gratefully the models always bring a great amount of energy to the photoshoots.
VIONNE: What inspired the creative direction for this particular shoot with Tresy, and how did you decide on the styling and mood? Jeffrey: For this shoot with Tresy knowing her look we and what would work for clothing I have given her some clothing ideas and she exactly what I was looking for, honestly the mood was created by the lighting we used in the studio.
VIONNE: You mentioned your appreciation for Vibe Space Studio — how does the space influence your workflow and results?
Jeffrey: The Vibe Space Photo and Dance Studio in Manhattan, NYC, truly is my influence because of the three ladies that own and run the studio, they are there with me on every shoot, they make so much possible for me on every shoot.
VIONNE: Your portfolio balances both high-fashion edge and timeless elegance — how do you maintain that balance, and what role does instinct play during a shoot?
Jeffrey: Thank you so much, honestly it's knowing the models what's going to work for each and every one.
VIONNE: In an industry driven by trends, how do you stay creatively grounded and ensure your work remains authentic to your artistic voice?
Jeffrey: I am not trying to follow any trends, I base every photo shoot on what's going to be the best look clothing style for each model.
VIONNE: You’ve photographed a wide range of models — what stood out to you about working with Tresy, and what makes her unique in front of the lens?
Jeffrey: Tresy has a beautiful European look thats what first stood out to me, she natural, just knows how to pose take direction, she truly is amazing to work with.
VIONNE: As someone rooted in the New York fashion scene, how does the city itself shape your creative vision or influence your shoots?
Jeffrey: It’s hard not to be influenced by NYC, but honestly I try not to be distracted by all that can influence a photo shoot, I really focus on the model that I am working with and what's going to work best for our photo shoot.
VIONNE: Looking ahead — you hinted at future collaborations with Tresy. Can you give us a glimpse into what you’re planning next together?
Jeffrey: Yes, Tresy and I will be working together soon again, honestly I am putting together some ideas at this time, but I can tell you that we will be using a smoke or fog machine for some of the images.
