Interview with Daria
VIONNE: Daria, this shoot brought together creatives from Ukraine, Austria and Hungary. How did it feel to collaborate across cultures, and what was special about this team?
Daria: I really love the creative energy and being surrounded by people who share the same vision and goal. Working in an international team is always exciting for me - it’s inspiring and enriching in so many ways.
VIONNE: You began your modeling career at 27 - a bold and unconventional move in an industry that often prizes youth. What gave you the courage to take that leap, and what has surprised you most since starting?
Daria: For a long time, I hesitated to start my modeling career. Moving to Austria put my little dream on hold for many years. But at some point, I realized - better late than never. That thought gave me the courage to finally take the step.
VIONNE: You mentioned facing rejection early on, but also learning not to take it personally. How did you develop that mindset, and what would you tell other aspiring models struggling with self-doubt?
Daria: At first, I took rejections very personally - and there were many of them. It was painful and confusing, and at one point, I even felt burned out. But after reflecting, I realized that my mental state is the most important thing in achieving my goals. I had to protect it. Through trial and error, I learned not to react so sharply and to trust that what’s meant for me will always find me.
VIONNE: Reaching Paris Fashion Week was a major turning point for you. What did that experience mean to you personally, and how did it change your perspective on what’s possible in your career?
Daria: Being part of Paris Fashion Week made me realize that anything is possible if you work hard and stay dedicated. For me, it became a huge motivation - a reminder not to give up, to keep moving forward, and to continue growing.
VIONNE: Looking ahead, what are your hopes for the next chapter of your modeling journey? Are there specific goals, designers, or cities you’re dreaming of working with next?
Daria: I don’t have just hopes - I have goals and big dreams! I dream of working in Milan and London, walking in a bridal show, signing a contract with a major brand, and appearing in advertising campaigns. And yes, I believe everything depends only on me!
