Nikita Yeung: Soft Power

Text: VIONNE Magazine | Photographer & Designer: Nikita Yeung | Model: ZiHan Song

A Visual Rebellion in Black & Softness

In a world that often tells women how to behave, dress, and express themselves — especially in cultures where conformity is expected — ZiHan Song does something radical: she claims her own corner of beauty, softness, and strength.

Designed and photographed by Nikita Yeung, this editorial is more than fashion — it’s a quiet rebellion. “Asian girls are often taught to tone themselves down,” says Nikita. “Not to be too sexy, not too lovely — just normal.” But ZiHan challenges that. Her presence, bold and tender at once, asks no permission to be seen, admired, or fully herself.

Surrounded by books, black corsets, soft textiles, and vintage clippings, her world feels both curated and real — a safe space for self-expression and visual poetry.
