Jeffrey Sielski: Couture In NYC

Madison’s look for the shoot to me says NYC, the vibe, styling, NYC is always a big influence for me.

Color Meets Control

With Couture In NYC, Jeffrey Sielski distills the energy of New York into pure form, color, and attitude. Rather than relying on skyline clichés or street imagery, the series channels the city through confidence, precision, and presence. Madison Stowell arrives from California and steps seamlessly into a sharper rhythm—her striking gaze and poised elegance becoming the perfect vessel for a story built on modern glamour. Against clean studio backdrops, blue tones feel crisp and futuristic, while saturated golds pulse with nightlife intensity.

The editorial thrives on opposition. Metallic textures meet sleek black silhouettes, softness meets structure, restraint meets statement. Every frame feels deliberate, from sculptural posing to the sharp punctuation of red sunglasses that instantly transform the mood. Sielski’s controlled studio setting allows each styling decision to breathe, proving that couture does not need excess to command attention. Here, New York is not a location—it is a mindset: bold, polished, restless, and impossible to ignore.

Interview with Jeffrey Sielski

VIONNE: Jeffrey, Couture In NYC feels like a dialogue between minimal studio precision and bold color storytelling. What was the initial vision behind this series?

Jeffrey: This was Madison's first time coming to NYC from California, I wanted to to add color with styling Madison made this possible.

VIONNE: Madison Stowell brings a striking presence to the series. What made her the right model for this concept?

Jeffrey: Madison has a strong elegant look, her eye color is very striking with the clothing style that was chosen worked perfectly.

VIONNE: The styling shifts between structured metallic textures and sleek black silhouettes. How did you approach balancing these two fashion identities?

Jeffrey: There are two keys to make it work -the models look, posing & the lighting, I like opposite clothing styles looks.

VIONNE: Compared to your outdoor black-and-white work, this series feels more graphic and polished. What excites you about working in this cleaner, studio-driven environment?

Jeffrey: I love both, but in the studio you have more of a controlled environment, thanks so much to Elena from Vibe Space Studio, for the full lighting setup everything worked perfectly.

VIONNE: Accessories like the red sunglasses subtly disrupt the monochrome looks. How important are these small styling details in shaping the final image?

Jeffrey: I like adding some accessories to a shoot, honestly the sunglasses are mine, but when I say the black dress on Madison I new the red sunglasses would add another demention & work perfectly.

VIONNE: New York is in the title, yet the setting is stripped down and abstract. How does the idea of NYC influence the shoot without being literally present?

Jeffrey: Madison's look for the shoot to me says NYC, the vibe, styling, NYC is always a big influence for me.
